It’s super interesting to imagine how AI will impact the future of SEO. What if as AI becomes more advanced, so does Google bots’ ability to detect it? It’s good to be aware of the capability, but something tells me it’ll be considered black hat in 10 years.
100% agree with you and have thought a lot about this! I would bet big $ that Google already has a similar AI Chatbot search in their back pocket, but it would completely disrupt their current business model dramatically. Now, with the emergence of some of these competitors, they may be forced to react, whether that is to stifle the competition, introduce their own version, or find another way to eliminate the threat, like doubling down on detecting bot content even more!
